Is it possible to repair my fiesta after timing chain has gone?
first off.there is no guarantee it wont break down again.no matter what you do.if the timing chain/belt did break and the engine is an interference one(meaning the valves can come in contact with the pistons if not timed right)then your looking at pos bent,broken valves.or even a hole in the piston.if there is no interference fit.then you could probably just put in a new chain and go from there.so get outside and start pulling the engine apart to see what damage is done.get an estimate on what it will cost to repair it compared to getting a used engine and or junking the thing,buying something else.
