Is it pretty easy to make Gyoza skins? ?
Its the same as won ton skins. When I am really energetic I make them, much easier to buy. Use about two cups all purpose flour (NOT Self rising) 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 cold water Cornstarch or flour for dusting If you have a stand mixer, its much easier to put your dough hook on and put the flour,salt and water in. Let mix until it pulls away from bowl or dough is firm and elastic. remove and place on floured surface( a tip- I use two sheets of wax paper with flour on it. easy to clean) cut your dough into 3 or 4 pieces, roll out very thin,dust with flour,fold and roll out again keep repeating, then cut your squares.dust in between each square This recipe can be used for phyllo dough the only difference you dot each layer with small pieces of butter and keep rolling.
