Never drink or cook with hot tap water. Lead and other contaminants from the pipes dissolve faster in hot water. Older home with corroded pipes usually contain more lead. Beware newer “lead free” pipes that are used now a days still can contain as much 8% of lead in them.That being said never use hot tap water to cook, drink or in baby’s bottles.
