Is it safe to feed my cat Fancy Feast wet cat food with wheat gluten?
Fancy Feast is made by Purina. None of the Fancy Feast or Purina cat foods was ever affected by the wheat gluten contamination. Only one Purina product for dogs was affected and pulled off the shelves. My cats have been eating many of the Fancy Feast varieties for 5 months or more with no problems; wheat gluten ones as well. But stay around these forums and you’ll learn that this is not the best canned food to feed them. Some of the Fancy Feast are OK, others not so good.
