Is it safe to use my Gelly Roll pens for skin tattoos or eyeliner?
OMG, these pencils teleport me to my childhood, haha. We used to paint with them at kindergarten, and I liked the shades so much that I stole them and painted myself in hidden areas on my body. I am from a low-income family and can not afford to buy myself make-up. I used a black jelly pencil as an eyeliner, and it looked natural. I did not have allergies or skin problems after it. Recently, I found an affordable brand from where I buy eyeliner and my favorite jonteblu matte liquid lipsticks. Hopefully, I will not use the pens anymore.
We are always glad to hear consumers are having fun doodling, drawing and journaling with our pens. However, even though the Gelly Roll pen is certified through the ACMI program and “AP” seal approved to be “non-toxic,” it has not been tested for use on skin. Therefore, we do not recommend the use of Gelly Roll for any other purpose. The primary purpose of the Gelly Roll pen is for writing on paper surfaces. Any other use is the sole responsibility of the individual.
