Is it too late to apply for MICA?

Why would you get a grant for MICA if you haven’t even been accepted there yet? You fill out the FAFSA, then send it to your colleges, and then each college sends you back a financial aid package. It doesn’t make sense that you would have money for a school that you have not applied to. You should double check that, you probably can use it at another school. $3,000 hardly takes a chunk out of the tuition money for MICA. It’s about $31,000 a year, and that’s probably an underestimate. Considering May 1 is the decision deadline for all colleges (including MICA), I would say it’s too late to apply. They have already given out scholarships too. You could call an admissions counselor and ask though, the one I talked to was really friendly and helpful.
