Lime or lemon juice, turmeric, honey, etc are natural bleach that improve complexion. They remove tan and make your skin fairer. It does make your hair lighter, but it dries it out and damages it very bad. I used to do it to my hair, because I wanted my hair to be blonde, even though its like dirty blonde now. It damaged my hair REALLY bad, and I had to use certain conditioner to fix it. I wouldnt recommend doing it. But the lemon Juice has a certain chemical in it, kind of like Peroxide does (yes, peroxide also works). And that chemical takes the color out of your hair a little at a time. The more you use, the lighter it gets.
