couple of issues…you have moths, not weevils and bay leaves are supposed to help keep them out of the cabinet ( I have treated countless homes with bay leaves in the cabinets yet still had either weevils or moths), but if you brought them in from a store they are already in the food so it will have no effect. With the moths you should be able to tell easy enough what they are infesting, there will be like a cob web inside the packaging where they are at. Get rid of that and what ever open packaging of dry foods (to be safe) near the source. Go ahead and open up the unopened boxes and inspect for cocoons..not so much for an infestation, but the caterpillar will seek out such places and pupate and in a couple of weeks you will start having the problem again. Thoroughly clean the cabinets concentrating in the corners and under the shelves, once again getting the cocoons.
