Is it true that solvents are cancerogenic?

0

A2. Not all of them are; this depends upon several factors. As for the solvents of petroliferous origin, it is important the quantity of certain substances that are known to be cancerogenic, such as benzene, or the so-called PAH (Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons). All our solvents (such as Tesol, Kustom 40 and Tekusolv) are highly refined and the presence of the above substances, if any, is much lower than the quantity admitted by the European regulations. Thus, our solvents are not cancerogenic.
