I also think of Easter and specifically that Jesus is always depicted with a purple cloth, so perhaps resurrection could be associated with the color purple. Now I have never associated the words fake and pretending with the color purple, however when I think about it, I suppose it could be suitable. I’d call it imagination. I have seen paintings of children dressed up like kings and queens in a playful show of imagination and pretend. Often fairy tales evoke in the mind the color purple, as well as many sorts of fantasy stories.
