No, it is not unusual for most churches. While there may not be non-Beachy/non-Mennonite visitors every Sunday, many churches are accustomed to having them as visitors. However, the church community is close enough that they do know when there are visitors, even in larger churches. (Please forgive any looks or people taking special notice; its not polite, but it happens. And, after all, the plain people get stared at most everywhere else they go!
