Is it worth our group being recognised as First Responders?
A16. At the moment the Ambulance Service requires additional training for our group to be recognised as First Responders. It also requires that every one is CRB checked. This can limit the number of responders that you can afford. As long as you have a good local communication system it should not present any problem if a group is not recognised as a First Responder.
