Is Kenseth still angry at his team after a tactical blunder cost him the points lead at Dover?
Kenseth said Tuesday he still was “a little dumbfounded and a little disappointed” about running out of gas while running second, but he seemed over the error. Though he scolded his crew over his in-car radio, saying, “This is stupid; this is how you lose a championship,” Kenseth said he didn’t think he was too critical of crew chief Robbie Reiser. The frustration stemmed from Dover being the second time this season Kenseth ran out of gas after challenging for a victory (it also happened at Chicagoland). “There’s not a real big excuse for doing that when you have the fastest car,” he said. “That’s just a gamble that we probably didn’t need to take.
