Is Lactobacillus Bulgaricus (LB) a well established bacteria?
At the beginning of the 20th century in Eastern Europe Eli Metchnikoff suggested that it would be possible to modify the gut flora and replace harmful microbes by useful microbes. LB is particularly able to survive the acidic stomach environment as well as the bile salts. They flourish in the upper and lower intestines.
