Is lennox Lewis the most underrated heavyweight ever?
I have always believed that Lennox is vastly underrated and is definately in the top ten list of greatest heavyweight boxers of ALL TIME. He is forever known as the ‘last great heavyweight draw’ of the boxing world as the sport has dramatically declined in popularity thanks to MMA and K-1. If Lewis had fought a couple bigger names, like Foreman, Bowe, Ibeabuchi, and Chris Byrd (and won all) he would go down as argueably the greatest.
he was an average fighter in an awful time alot of question marks of how he would of actually done with a prime tyson or holyfield he also had trouble with other below average fighters such as raham mcall klitsko though his competiton was better than vladimir klitskos competition it was not much better his biggest names were tyson and holyfield both past their primes holyfield took him the distance twice the british media has over hyped lewis when most of the american boxing fans couldnt be fooled many of them know lewis was a pretender
