Is Limbaugh taking Clear Channel under?
Rush Limbaugh just might be a major factor in the decline of Clear Channel Radio. Monday, March 2, 2009 Clear Channel Media Holdings reported a $5 billion dollar loss for the fourth quarter of 2008. Today, March 9, 2009, Clear Channel Media Holdings CCMO traded between 51 cents and a buck forty. The company believes the slowing economy is responsible for a double digit loss in advertising revenues. Clear Channel wholly owns Premiere Radio Networks, which features in its stable/kennel Rush Limbaugh and Limbaugh wannabe Glenn Beck. Perhaps this is all a parasitic vicious circle. Limbaugh and Beck spew ruinous political ideas (no regulation by government) which leads to mass destruction of American wealth, which leads to collapse of businesses including some that advertise with Limbaugh and Beck.
