ive had both, and i would say the lip is more painful, but the tounge is more of a pain, as it swells up 4 the first 2 weeks so u can hardly eat, i lived of noodles and soup, but i would still say lip over all, it also itched me, so i took it out all 2gther get your tounge done if ure wanting one
