Is Liquifusion poured over the finished mosaic (i.e. glass and grout) or does using Liquifusion eliminate the need for grouting?
Liquifusion is mixed together (its a 2-part product, catalyst hardener and resin), and then poured on. You can use it on top of a grouted mosaic, or use it instead of grout on a transparent mosaic (glass on a glass base). 7) I recently purchased Liquifusion and was very satisfied with the results of my first project. When I completed my second project and allowed the suggested drying time to take place, an area of the piece on the surface is tacky and now has a small fingerprint of mine (a new way of identifying my work). Questions: Why is the one area tacky and by re-pouring a new surface will it clean up the fingerprint? It depends on whether the double cup method method was used. This method ensures a thoroughly mixed formulation. From the description of “tacky” it sounds like the hardener catalyst did not mix thoroughly with Part A (the resin). Regardless, here is what you to do to fix the fingerprint/tacky problem: First – Use a blow dryer or shrink-wrap type heat gun to heat up t
