Is LPS meant specifically for the Air Force, or was it designed to be used DoD-wide?

LPS-Public is not limited to the Air Force or the DoD; it is freely available for anyone to use. LPS includes functions that may be more applicable to DoD users, but it is also being used by civilian government agencies and the defense industrial base. LPS-Remote Access is meant for US federal government users to connect to internal networks. As a Department of Defense-funded project, we cannot provide the software to other federal government agencies for free; we charge $10K for a one-time customization, and $2K for annual support. We are investigating how to provide the software to state and local government organizations and public sector entities, but do not yet have a process for these organizations.
