No clean-up costs, therefore, are required as opposed to conventional solar panels that require a professional to perform maintenance and clean-up, otherwise suffer significant decreases in performance as the inner copper pipes become clogged up. Solarise heat exchanger manifolds are designed to collect any limescale buildup or residues at the bottom of the heat exchanger tank. Performance is not affected and a simple flush of the manifold/tank is sufficient in clearing out the system (recommended every 3-5 years).
