Is McDonalds American ethnic food?

No, because America isn’t one single ethnic category. It’s American-style fast food, but not ETHNIC. Taco Bell is ethnic.

God, let’s hope not. Interestingly, much of what’s considered American food is far from it. The hamburger, invented in Germany, was originally a dish of chopped pork bearing little resemblance to the hamburger we know and love. Of course, the hamburger we know today was first assembled in America. French fries are distinctly French, known as pomme frite. Let’s hope the world doesn’t see American food as all McDonald’s.
