Although the medical use of marijuana is associated with wanting to get approval for legalization and using this for recreational needs, some people have found that using marijuana for patients (i.e. people suffering from glaucoma use cannabis to ease the pressure on their eyes) can really bring out the curative powers of this plant. However, shameless bigots have been known to induce fear on the public, speaking of Cannabis as a “gateway drug” to other harder drugs. However, extensive reasearch, both nationally and internationally, has found no definite links between this unifying theory of how people got hooked on Heroin by smoking weed. Further studies have clarified ambiguous myths about Marijuana, such as the addiction and dependancy that so many drug enforcement agencies claim it has. From my perspective, there is nothing unethical or wrong about using marijuana for medical purposes. There are some controversies about the legalization of the medical use of marijuana which are not logical. Marijuana is a beneficial drug and it should be produced and used in a wide array of situations. A worldwide campaign against medical marijuana is discouraging people to learn about marijuana’s effects, uses and benefits. I think the medical use of marijuana is completely ethical and valuable as well.
