I’ve hear talc can clog pores. Mica, as in sericite mica, is a great substitute for Talc in a lot of mineral makeup products. I’ve never heard of it being bad for your skin. Just keep in mind the sources you hear that stuff from. If there is no scientific evidence then it may just be “scare mongering” of the website author who’s trying to convince you to buy their “healthier” alternative! Do more research. A site called cosmeticscops is a good place to start. If you are looking for a talc free makeup, you might wanna try what I use, the Hollywood mineral makeup from LA Minerals.
