Is my MIJ Silver Series Squier Strat Alder or Basswood?

I have searched the net for information on these and have found very little spec info. I have a MIJ Squier Silver Series Strat with serial number starting with N00. The Fender site indicates these were made in 1993/1994. I have heard that some Squier’s were made with Alder bodies, and was wondering if anyone knows if MIJ Squiers from this era were made with Alder or Basswood (It definitely isn’t plywood – I have checked). Any other valuable MIJ Silver Series Squier info would be welcomed too.
