Is my rib broken fractured or cracked bruised?
Usually if your rib is fractured; your will feel a short of breath, feel anxious, restless, dizzy, tired, or sleepy even might heave a headace. It will also hurt to sneeze. Also you will have pains in your chest. Only way to find out for sure is to get x-ray done and rib fractured dont always show up on x-rays thefore the doctor will most likely treat it as if there was a fractured rib & the healing usually depends on how bad it is whether its fractured or broken. The doctor will do certain prodcedures like push on your chest to see where it hurts, listen to your heart, watch you breath and listen to your lungs. Doctors cant really do much about the situtation because it usually does hail by its self which usually takes about 6 weeks. For treatment you should put ice on the injuried area, get rest, and take medication like asprin, ibuprofen.
