Is my rottweiler pregnant?

It is definitely possible that she is pregnant but that you aren’t able to feel the puppies move. Not all puppies are super wiggly! With my last litter, the pups were very mobile and you could actually see them moving around over the last few days. This is not always the case and if the dog is fat (overweight) it would be harder to feel them for sure. It’s also possible that she has just a few puppies in there and then they wouldn’t be bulging towards the outside where you could feel them. If you have a stethoscope handy you may be able to hear their heartbeats though. Another thing to consider is that semen can live for up to 7 days inside the dog prior to being used for fertilizing the eggs. So, in theory, she could have been bred the day you got her, but if her eggs didn’t ripen for another week, they wouldn’t be fertilized until that point. Puppies could be a week further away than you think! I hope for your sake and hers that she is not pregnant. If she is, you may want to conside
