Is my veterinary qualification recognised in the UK?

0

In order to practice as a vet in the UK your name needs to appear on the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) Register. So the question really should be: “is my veterinary qualification recognised by the Royal College?” The College publishes a list of qualifications which it recognises as being acceptable for entry into the Register. If the qualification you hold is NOT in this list you will need to sit the RCVS Statutory Examination for Membership. The list of EU qualifications accepted by the RCVS can be found in our guide – EU Veterinary Qualifications. For information on qualifications from non-EU countries please refer to the Royal College website (www.rcvs.org.uk).
