Yes. NLIS Sheep & Goats was introduced in NSW from 1 January 2006. From 1 January 2009 all sheep and farmed goats leaving the farm require NLIS Sheep & Goats tags. From 1 July 2010 all movements of sheep and goats between properties with different PICS must be recorded on the NLIS database.
