Is Obama a wealthy man, if not can he become US President?
Obama is fairly wealthy, although this is a pretty recent thing for his family. He’s not real rich compared to most of the “experienced” Washington politicians, but he certainly is compared to the average guy. Not to worry, though, his supporters have got his back. He’s got a stronger support base among the grassroots voters than pretty much any candidate has ever had before–1.6 million small-time campaign donors and counting. He also gets some support from lobbyists and rich people, of course, like they all do. So far Obama’s policies and grassroots support seems to be trumping the riches and insider connections of more established politicians, at least if the primary election was any indication.
