Is Olive Oil same as Olive leaf extract. Does the oil have similar properties?
• Oleuropein which is the active ingredient is found in the entire olive tree and hence is found in oil as well as leaves. But the content of the ingredient is far more in leaf than oil. Furthermore oil contains EFAS which have their own health benefits. It is more effective taking a pill as it would give an ideal dosage of required quantity than consuming lots of oil to get the same effect.
