Yes, OWB can reconcile the source metadata with the actual source system. If changes are present OWB will – after running the reconcile – present a source impact analysis report to the user. The user can decide to go ahead and reconcile the changes or reject them. Sophisticated functionality allows the user to keep certain information (added logical keys in OWB etc.) regardless of the discrepancy detected.
