There is no such thing as a non profit organisation in the UK. Oxfam is a charity, registered in England and Wales. Oxfam shops exist to raise money for the work of the charity, they are not there to provide cheap clothing for people. You make your own decision as to whether to shop there and donate to charity at the same time, or you shop at Primark and contribute to the dividends of shareholders - no one makes you do either. As for large salaries - Oxfam has a multi million pound turnover - do you seriously expect someone to manage that sort of organisation for £20k a year?
