Is Paganism a “nature religion”?
Some branches of Paganism may identify more with the phrase “nature religion” than others do, as the importance of nature in Paganism varies according to the specific tradition. Some Pagan religions like Wicca may focus on finding the divine with the natural world, while others like Asatru are often more interested in reviving historical practices and may not consider themselves nature-based. It is valid to say that most Pagan religions share a reverence or respect for nature, whether or not they consider it the actual focus of their worship.
