Is parking deducted from every check, or just twice per month?
Employees paid bi-weekly will have permit fee deductions two times a month; employees paid on a monthly basis will have only one permit fee deduction per month. Top of Page Is there any economic hardship provision? An employee may not be able to afford 31 dollars a month for parking forcing them to look elsewhere for employment. Is there some sort of economic relief/discount or hardship exception or provision? While we don’t offer any provision for economic hardship, employees do have alternatives to driving to work and purchasing a parking permit. Some parking is available nearby on city streets. Employees may arrange carpools amongst themselves. For those who are interested in carpooling with non-University employees, Lexington Fayette Urban County Government offers an online ride matching service.
