Is patience the greatest virtue?

Assalaamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh. : Sabr - patience on all occasions comes in as a handy remedy prescribed by Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala, to act an anti-toxin to the poisons of all mishaps and elixir of all ills. : When one is accustomed to bear things with patience, then a great deal of the adverse effect of tribulation vanishes away. : When cultivating the good habit of patience, a person's whole psychological set up of mind undergoes a great change. : Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala is with the person who is steadfast in patience. : Steadfast in patience gives great consolation and comfort.
