Is Performance Review linked to Promotion, Role Review and Salary?
No. The Performance Review scheme is separate from any procedures relating to promotion, role review and salary matters. However, since career development is a component of the Performance Review process, discussion of such matters may occasionally arise during meetings. Members of staff may present paperwork associated with the Performance Review process in support of applications for promotion or discretionary increments, if they wish. However, there is no requirement to do so. Such paperwork will be treated in the same confidential manner as any other documentation submitted as part of these processes.
