I’m on my third pregnancy and every time in the early stage i felt like i was going to have a period so it is quite normal as long as you haveno heavy blood loss and no cramping pains.

Yes, a lot of women experience mild cramping in early pregnancy. Increased discharge is completely normal too. The only reason you would need to be concerned is if the pain gets to be very intense and/or is accompanied by bleeding. It starts to go away after a few weeks though so you won’t be feeling that way the whole time. You just get a whole bunch of new things happening…lol. 🙂 Also, my OB recommended really increasing my fluid intake to help with the cramping and it seemed to work. She told me that the uterus is a muscle just like any other and when it gets dehydrated, it causes cramps. So you could try that to ease them a bit.

Oh yes it sure is normal! I had a miscarriage and that was like excruciating period cramping, but then I got pregnant again three weeks later. I was literally convinced AF (period) was coming because I had so much cramping for about 4 straight weeks, but it never came only a BFP! My doctor told me it is completely normal to feel that when the egg is planting itself in your uterus. It’s also normal to feel when your body is expecting a period… though it will never come. Good luck!!
