Is pumping necessary?
Your milk comes in on a supply and demand basis. If you are pumping the side that the baby isn’t drinking from then you are causes your breast to believe that there is a need for more milk production. Everyone of my babies only nursed from one side at a time. Just make sure to always start out on the side she did not nurse from the time before. Your body will get used to this quickly and adjust to the babies needs.
