Is radiant heat efficient?

0

Yes! All other forms of heat warm the air at the ceiling first. If you have your thermostat set at 70 degrees, the air at the ceiling might be 75 to 80 degrees with the air at the floor being as low as 65 degrees. With radiant heat, the air at the floor gets warm first. Since most of our relaxing time is spent sitting or reclining, you are closer to the heat allowing for your thermostat to be set lower.
