Is Rideau Place on-the-River regulated?
The provincial government does not regulate seniors’ living residences. It is, therefore, important to ensure that the residence you choose delivers on all of its service commitments. Rideau Place on-the-River is a strong supporter and approved member of the Ontario Retirement Communities Association (ORCA) which is the provincial body responsible for monitoring the retirement living sector. Rideau Place on-the-River has been awarded ORCA’s highest certification three (3) years during its last inspection. ORCA is recognized by the Ontario Government which also helps fund a Consumer hotline.
