Is riding the clutch good or bad?
i just answered this same question last night…if you are not shifting gears keep your foot off the clutch…even resting your foot on the clutch pedal will wear the friction disc…unless your father wants to pay the bill for the garage to remove your transmission from the car so they can replace the clutch assembly…his idea of burning up the clutch so you can save the brakes is the silliest thing i have ever heard, you must have misunderstood him…your mother is right – your mother is always right, always listen to your mother.
