Is September 30, 2008 a non-working holiday in the Philippines?

Hi! Based on Proclamation 1463, the date “September 30” does not appear. However, it seems the president *will* be issuing another proclamation for end of Ramadan, or Eidul Fitr. Though it seems we’ll have to wait, it’s more or less confirmed: “The President said another proclamation shall be issued declaring the Eidul Fitr date as a national holiday for Muslims “after the appropriate date of the Islamic holiday has been determined in accordance with the Islamic calendar (Hijra) or the lunar calendar, or upon Islamic astronomical calculations, whichever is possible or convenient.” And yes, there *are* real jobs in the Philippines. Not to mention skilled employees who are in demand abroad.
