Is Sexual Harassment a Culture Norm?
Sexual harassment seems to be a very common topic every where in the world, isn’t it? and in some countries it could be in worse forms. Well, in Australia sexual harassment has become a hot topic of debate after Ms. Kristy-Kirk, 27, former junior publicist is suing the retail giants David Jones, Australia and its former CEO for $37 million dollars. It is set to be the biggest legal battle in sexual harassment in Australia ever. One of Kristy-Kirk’s claims that the former CEO of David Jones touched her inappropriately at workplace. The case came to light after outside court settlement was unsatisfied by Ms. Kristy Kirk. As a result, Mr. Mark resigned from his position as CEO of David Jones and moved to United State with his pregnant girlfriend but that didn’t help him to the consequence of his actions.
