Yes. Simply place the SmartBurn in the base of the fire-box. Keep it flat and level at all times to keep the ingredients inside the casing. Place the SmartBurn in a ‘cooler’ part of the fire, preferably to the side or back, where it will be least disturbed. Do not “cook it” – do not place it in the concentrated heat area of the fire (otherwise it will not last the 3 months). Place ash around the SmartBurn to stop it from tipping.
