Is Smirnoff Ice Kosher?
The Smirnoff Company says “NO!” From the desk of Rabbi Eliezer Eidlitz Re: Smirnoff Ice Hi. I spoke with the London Beth Din who is certifying some of the Smirnoff company’s products in London. They do not have any information concerning the Ice. However, I have worked extensively with various departments of the company in the U.S. They are of the opinion that they tried to have Smirnoff Ice certified as Kosher but were not successful. They do not recommend it for the kosher consumer and neither would I.
