No, in accordance with state law smoking is not permitted inside state-owned facilities, including all residence halls. Residents who smoke must do so outside. As a courtesy to other members of the community, smokers are asked to move away from any windows or doors to prevent the impact of secondhand smoke. Individuals who are smoking must properly and safely discard any trash, such as cigarette butts, ashes or matches, which result from their smoking. Disposal containers are spread throughout the complex. Consult the Housing Administrative Policies and Regulations for additional information about Smoking Guidelines.  more
