Is soccer the worlds best sport?
The answer is no. Of course, if you don’t live in the USA, you’ll probably love it. If your friends are not Americans, that might explain there love for it. They may still love it if they they are Americans, but it is not a popular sport in the USA. I only mention this because the rest of the world always seems to insist that America is either wrong, silly, crazy or whatever for not embracing soccer like we do football, baseball, or basketball. They never seem to take into account that the USA is a surrounded by two oceans and was separated from the soccer crazed nations when soccer was being popularized. In that time, we developed our own sports. Other countries had soccer spread through European colonization and a lack of homegrown sports. So, Argentina will be soccer crazed, but the USA will not. So, if people like soccer, so be it. If you don’t, just don’t. But, don’t buy the argument that because the rest of the world loves it, we should, too. It always seems like the rest of the
