Well to a certain extent, I feel that society as a whole feel that way. (I base this on the way people have reacted to my social awkwardness). I know its never good to generalize, but it seems to me that people almost ‘despise’ you if are socially awkward. I’m sure a lot of people here have gotten negative feedback about this trait.
