0

The Division of Human Resources routinely conducts software training as part of the Desktop Computing Skills curriculum. That curriculum includes basic, intermediate and advanced skill level training on Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint. Kent State employees can take advantage of the full-day courses at no charge. In addition, the Desktop Computing Skills curriculum includes a two-hour training on Lotus Notes Basics. Upcoming courses include: • PowerPoint Intermediate – April 4, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. • Lotus Notes Basics – March 16, 2 to 4 p.m., and March 31, 9 to 11 a.m. Registration is required. For more details on the courses or to register, visit this Web site http://seminars.lms.kent.edu/ and select Human Resource Development from the department drop-down menu. Use that same Web site address to check for upcoming course offerings in the Desktop Computing Skills curriculum. For more information, please contact Human Resource Development at 330-672-5050.
