Is software training available to Kent State employees?
The Division of Human Resources routinely conducts software training as part of the Desktop Computing Skills curriculum. That curriculum includes basic, intermediate and advanced skill level training on Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint. Kent State employees can take advantage of the full-day courses at no charge. In addition, the Desktop Computing Skills curriculum includes a two-hour training on Lotus Notes Basics. Upcoming courses include: • PowerPoint Intermediate – April 4, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. • Lotus Notes Basics – March 16, 2 to 4 p.m., and March 31, 9 to 11 a.m. Registration is required.
