Is soya milk a kind of milk?

0

Soya milk comes from the soya bean, so it is not a milk. You create a “milk” by grinding some kind of bean or nut and adding water, then straining the water. This is the “milk.” Like dairy, soya is a complete protein (has all your essential amino acids). It has no cholesterol, so in that sense it can be better than regular milk, but some people are allergic to soya (you’d know by now if you were, it’s in a lot of foods) so it might not be the choice. Overall, there will be no problem switching from cow’s milk to soya milk.
